Harmony Beyond Borders: Harvest Hills and Aspen Creek Students Unite for Epic Choir Concert!






Congratulations to Harvest Hills Elementary's own Mrs. Van Blarcom and Mrs. Alvarado on their big awards! They recently accepted MCL awards for Educational Excellence Awards, with Mrs. Alvarado being named K-5 Educator of the Year and Mrs. Van Blarcom taking home Nurse of the Year honors.



Quack quack! Harvest Hills 3rd graders welcomed some adorable new friends as our duck eggs hatched! The excited students got to meet the newest, furriest (well, feathered!) additions to their classroom.










Gretna Public Schools Superintendent Mr. Lightle gave Harvest Hills 3rd graders a fun-filled tour of Gretna, sharing the city's rich history and hidden gems along the way.



Winding down with connection! Mrs. Starbuck's 2nd graders wrap up each day with sharing time, fostering friendships and a sense of community. A heartwarming way to end the day!

Some adorable furry friends crashed 2nd grade! Fourth graders surprised Mrs. Matousek's class with a visit, bringing along some cuddly companions for a fun-filled afternoon.

For more than 15 years, Gretna Public Schools' third graders have participated in a one-of-a-kind tradition: a history tour of Old Gretna led by the Superintendent. From the original jail and blacksmith shop to the first schoolhouse site, students explore key pieces of the town’s past while gaining pride in their community.
